Stan Van Offel Agafia Tikhonovna

Stan Van Offel (1885-1924), a rare watercolour and pencil design for a theatre costume, signed with the monogram, dated Marais 1922 and with inscription Agafia Tikhonovna , for the play Hymenee by Gogol, (the character is a daughter of a merchant), 29 x 19 cm (day measure). Similar designs are in the collection of the Design museum Gent.
